This short course will cover:
  • How to handle lost and found edges.
  • How to measure your subject matter by eye.
  • The basic geometric shapes and how they relate to your landscape drawing and figures.
  • Understanding values (lights and darks) of your subject matter. How to turn form. You will receive a handy Value Guide.
  • The art of gesturing - how to draw quickly.
  • Linear perspective, understanding eye levels and vanishing points.
  • Gathering reference information and how to use it.
  • Tips and techniques for sketching outdoors.
